FAQ
Questions businesses ask us
When does ArthBook launch?
ArthBook 1.0 launches in October 2026 on Android and Windows. We’ll follow it with a new release every few weeks through December 2026 — see the release plan.
Does ArthBook work without the internet?
Yes. ArthBook is offline-first: your books are stored on your device, and the POS keeps billing when the connection drops. Bills queue up and sync when you’re back online. Features that talk to government systems, like e-invoice generation, need a connection when they run.
Can we move our existing books from Tally, Vyapar or a spreadsheet?
Yes. ArthBook 1.0 includes a guided migration that imports from Tally (XML or Excel), Vyapar and a spreadsheet template — masters and opening balances included — so you don’t re-type your books.
Does ArthBook file our GST returns?
ArthBook prepares return-ready GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C data in minutes and generates e-invoices and e-way bills through GSP partners. You — or your CA — review and file.
Where is our data stored, and who can see it?
Your data lives in a database on your own device. If you turn on cloud sync or backup, records are encrypted on your device before they leave it, and we don’t hold your encryption keys.
Can our CA and staff work in ArthBook too?
Yes. Roles and permissions let you decide what each team member can see and do, and CA Collaboration gives your accountant structured access to review books, request documents and export compliance packs.
